Fleur Shore
Mixmag Lab Miami | A|X Armani Exchange
Fleur Shore takes the Mixmag Lab Miami booth, and we’re instantly transported to a era of sun-bleached, smiley-faced progressive house—no irony, just pure, unadulterated groove. The vibe is a open-air terrace at 4 PM, sunglasses on, drinks flowing, a welcome respite from darker, more serious sounds. This is progressive and tech house at its most accessible, locked at a steady 128 BPM with a harmonic backbone often in the uplifting key of 12A. The energy is well-balanced, with a solid low-end (0.62 avg), punchy mids, and a surprising amount of high-end sparkle (0.21 avg) for that classic, crisp sheen.
Fleur Shore’s mixing is smooth and crowd-pleasing, building energy through familiar vocal hooks and soaring synth lines rather than abrasive drops. The progression through keys like 3B adds a touch of depth to the otherwise sunny disposition. The tracklist is a festival-ready arsenal. D’Julz’s ‘Hip House Soup’ is a quirky, funky opener that immediately grabs attention.
Caicedo’s ‘The Start’ builds with classic progressive tension. Dropping Agnelli & Nelson’s trance anthem ‘Hudson Street’ is a massive, nostalgic power move. The inclusion of Robin S.’s ‘Show Me Love’ is a guaranteed floor-filler, and Flow Box’s ‘Colors of the Rainbow’ provides a perfect, hands-in-the-air moment. The journey is designed for peak-time euphoria: it begins with the infectious funk of ‘Hip House Soup’, escalates through timeless anthems like ‘Hudson Street’, and closes with the explosive, D Ramirez-ified energy of Bodyrox’s ‘Yeah Yeah’.
