Helena Hauff at Glitch Festival is a brutalist architecture tour through raw machine funk, a reminder that true techno doesn’t need frills—just a 909, a 303, and a scowl. The vibe is dark, focused, and slightly dangerous, like a basement lab where the experiment is always on the verge of explosion. With only nine tracks, this is a set of deep, immersive journeys, locked into a pounding 136 BPM groove. The harmonic world is almost exclusively the driving, powerful 12A, creating a monochromatic but deeply effective palette.

The energy is low-end heavy (0.62 avg), all distorted kick drums and bass frequencies, with snarling mid-range acid lines (0.24 avg) providing the melodic tension. Hauff’s mixing is patient and physical, letting tracks like 'Ed209 - Infectious' run for 14 minutes to fully envelop the room. The track selection is pure steel-capped rave. 'Gamma Intel - Sleep and Cry' is a perfect, hypnotic opener.

'Human Rebellion - Soulless Humans' delivers on its title with grim efficiency. The inclusion of 'Darude - Sandstorm' is not a joke but a serious, peak-time reclamation of a trance meme into a hard techno weapon. The journey begins in a cold, synthetic sleep, builds through the relentless 'Infectious', and terminates in the squelching fury of 'Acidulant - Heavy Max'.
