Moon Boots
Live from Anjunadeep x Printworks London 2019 (Official HD Set)
Ah, Printworks. May it rest in peace. The only club where you spent half the night lost in a terrifying industrial corridor, and the other half watching lads in black t-shirts film the lighting rig instead of actually dancing. But when those massive vertical lasers fired up and the deep house kicked in, there wasn't a better room in Europe. The atmosphere for this Anjunadeep takeover is absolutely thick with anticipation and low-end rumble.
The Moon Boots Printworks London tracklist is a masterclass in soulful, Rominimal-adjacent house music. Coasting at a perfectly dialed 125.1 BPM, he navigates the 12A and 10B keys to craft a warm, major-chord euphoria that offsets the cold, metallic venue. His mixing is seamless, letting the tracks breathe and relying on deep, rolling basslines to keep the massive room moving. The crate digging in this Moon Boots live set is exceptionally classy. He slips in KC Lights' "Sol", but the absolute wildest flex is somehow working a sample of Grand Funk Railroad's "I'm Your Captain" into a modern house set without anyone batting an eyelid.
The musical journey starts deep with an "Unknown" opening track, eventually lifting the crowd into an emotional peak with his Kaleena Zanders collaboration, "Juanita". He closes the warehouse down perfectly with his Black Gatsby feature, "Power", as the closing track. A proper legendary session.
