Tomorrowland 2022 - WE2
Mainstage massive, assemble. You know exactly who is in the crowd: shirtless lads in bucket hats named Deano, shouting 'Losing It' at the top of their lungs before the DJ has even plugged the CDJs in. It's a sea of inflatable flamingos, flag-waving techno tourists, and people who think a drop is a substitute for a personality. But frankly, when the sun sets over Tomorrowland 2022 - WE2, the sheer scale and rowdy energy of the spectacle is impossible to hate.
This Fisher live set is a masterclass in giving the people exactly what they want. Blurring the lines of Tech House and Techno, the set is clinically locked at 128 BPM from start to finish, using 12A and 4B key progressions to build those massive, hands-in-the-air tension moments. Looking at the Fisher Tomorrowland 2022 - WE2 tracklist, it's a barrage of weapons-grade floor fillers. Dropping the 'Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano Remix' of 'Age of Love' is a brilliant nod to the darker heads, while 'Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams' brings the necessary pop-rave nostalgia.
The journey is pure adrenaline. From a thumping, unreleased opening track to a relentless, bouncing peak, it all culminates in absolute scenes with the euphoric closing track 'Bob Sinclar - World Hold On (FISHER Rework)'. A proper laugh.
