Adam Beyer
Awakenings x Drumcode ADE 2025
Welcome to the Drumcode family gathering, where everyone is wearing identical black t-shirts and arguing over which industrial kick drum is the most 'authentic'. Awakenings x Drumcode ADE 2025 is full of lads doing the techno march, looking like they're stomping grapes for a very aggressive winery. It's proper sorted, even if half the crowd looks like they're about to ask you for your Wi-Fi password in a Berlin accent. The Gashouder is a brutalist cavern of strobes and shadows, vibrating with a mechanical energy that feels like being inside a giant, beautiful engine. This Adam Beyer live set is a textbook example of main-room Techno, locked relentlessly at 136.4 BPM.
The EQ is dialed in for maximum impact, with a massive low-end foundation and sharp, piercing highs. He expertly navigates the 3B, 12A, and 7A keys, ensuring the harmonic progression is dark, driving, and distinctly Drumcode. Beyer's mixing is incredibly precise, using EQ isolation to swap basslines with surgical accuracy. The crate-digging here perfectly balances old-school rave nods with modern peak-time monsters. Dropping Faithless' 'We Come 1' is a guaranteed way to cause absolute pandemonium.
He also pulls out a massive rework of Gillette & 20 Fingers' 'Short, Short Man', which is a brilliantly cheeky curveball. The Adam Beyer Awakenings x Drumcode ADE 2025 tracklist is a masterfully paced assault. The opening track, the A.D.H.S. Remix of Thomas Schumacher & Elektrochemie LK's 'Schall', immediately sets a high-octane, acid-tinged tone. The undisputed highlight is Victor Ruiz & Moreira's 'Every Day', which paves the way for the massive closing track, Nicole Moudaber & Carl Cox's 'How It Makes You Feel'.
