Frequently Asked Questions
Does pitch shifting change the speed?
No. TuneLab uses time-stretching to maintain the original tempo while changing pitch. Enable vinyl mode to change pitch and speed together, like a turntable.
How far can I shift?
Up to 12 semitones (one octave) in either direction. Quality is best within 4 semitones. Larger shifts may introduce artifacts.
Is my audio uploaded to a server?
No. All processing runs directly on your device using your own GPU or CPU. Your files never leave your machine — not even temporarily.
